Aspect UC Applications Leverage VMware

Aspect, a Unified Communications (UC) solutions provider announced that its UC applications for contact centers offer virtualization capabilities through VMware. This allows multiple UC applications to run parallely as virtual machines, enabling applications to run on a smaller footprint, claimed the company.

“We know that improving efficiency and reducing IT complexity is a priority for our customers. Any organization that requires scalability, multi-tenancy and UC capabilities for the call center will benefit from our UC applications which leverage VMware,” said Serge Hyppolite, Director- Interaction Product Management, Aspect.

According to the company, UC applications with VMware offer benefits such as improved scalability, fewer servers and reduced costs among others.

UC applications deliver inbound routing, outbound dialing, voice portal, internet contact and workforce management among others to help organizations enhance customer service, collections and telemarketing business processes, claimed the company.
