Though communication and collaboration technologies are fairly popular now, what according to you is the market reality?
The communication and collaboration space has grown significantly in India and is expanding fairly well. The growing appetite of customers, opening up of new age verticals, and increasing adoption of technology in this industry will propel the growth of this segment.
Today, we see that collaboration and cloud computing are reshaping the Indian IT market by not only generating a huge potential for IT companies, but also by changing the way customers look at the adoption of IT in a business.
Collaboration has demand across various sectors including BFSI, retail, education, and healthcare. And all of these verticals are turning to collaboration and cloud in order to simplify communications in IT.
Even, according to the latest IDC report, the entire cloud market including collaboration and communication—which is fast maturing and encountering many new entrances and a broad range of investments taking center stage in the cloud ecosystem—is expected to grow 53 percent by 2017.
We, at InterCall, believe that it doesn’t matter what you do or who you work for, in business, everyone needs to communicate, and we specialize in conferencing solutions, which one can use to meet with anyone, anywhere.
How are your offerings different from solutions from your competitors like Cisco, Avaya and Polycom?
We don’t necessarily see Cisco and some of the other providers as competitions, we rather have a very healthy co-optation model with them. Also, InterCall solutions are very much different from the traditional competitors who are in the field of unified communication.
InterCall proprietary Web-based tools help customers to have remote meetings that are as engaging as a live one. It’s an easy-to-use, integrated audio, video and Web conferencing solution that allows our customers to get more done in less time.
Another extraordinary product is InterCall's Webcasting Studio, which allows customers to create and deliver high-impact live and on-demand virtual presentations for lead generation, training, corporate communications, or any product launches, where customers are looking to increase audience engagement.
We also have Enterprise Connectivity Conferencing (ECC), which delivers a complete solution that connects our global conferencing cloud with customers’ Microsoft Lync server integrating PSTN and VoIP participants on a single call.
How are you riding the mobility wave?
We offer Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCAAS), and with this we provide customers complete cloud-based solutions that can be accessed anytime, anywhere and from any device. Apart from these, we have several applications such as MobileMeet for conferencing on the go, which is a gateway to a more seamless meeting experience with more power to start, join, and schedule meetings with complete call management.
UCaaS consists of components such as network management, messaging and presence, voice and telephony, and conferencing and collaboration. Many organization aim at reducing expenditure and this is where cloud and mobility-based UC solutions will better suit their needs as compared to our traditional on-premise solutions.
We offer integrated conferencing solutions that include audio, Web and video conferencing and we also empower our employees to effectively collaborate with our customers to attain business objectives. Businesses from different industries can enrich client relationship with increased interaction and communication, conducting interactive training and webinars, as well helping clients access data from secure mobile devices and platforms. And all these are designed completely to deal with the businesses’ legacy system.
What is the channel route for InterCall? What are the new schemes and partner programs you have for this year?
We are very closely integrated with channel partners and always look to develop and integrate new and innovative channel strategies for implementing our work. We do have channel partners with whom we work across the region, and that’s an ongoing evolution that we work towards.
We continuously determine how we can more closely work with our partner ecosystem, make them comfortable about our working style and our product portfolio, provide aggressive pricing opportunities, and help them generate more revenue opportunities.
InterCall also provides its partners with the best and dedicated sales, marketing, billing, operation, and customer support teams, along with proper collateral, pricing and effective backup to keep them motivated and sell our solutions and products in the market.
