India leader Parag Khurana leaves F5

Parag Khurana, who has been leading the F5 business for India and SAARC since 2013, has quit the company.

Parag Khurana has left F5 Networks.

Parag was the Managing Director for India and SAARC at F5 Networks for over five years.

Prior to joining F5 in April 2013, Parag was the Head - Public Sector at HP India.

F5 has confirmed Parag’s exit.

F5 Networks’ official statement to IDG India

Khurana has over 24 years of experience in the IT industry. He has worked for global players such as F5, Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Digital Equipment.

With 20-plus years of application service experience, F5 provides the broadest set of services and security for enterprise-grade apps, whether on-premise or across any multi-cloud environment. 

We will be conducting a search for his replacement and will share an update when we have additional news, mentioned F5 in the statement. 

During his stint at Hewlett Packard India, Khurana successfully held different roles across segments like public sector, communications, media & entertainment. 

He was Country Manager for Communications Media & Entertainment at HP India from November 2008 to June 2012, wherein he managed sales for enterprise customers in the telecom segment of India. 

Khurana joined HP India in July 2002 as a Regional Services Principal where he managed services sales for telecom companies in North India.

Parag has also worked for Compaq (later acquired by HP) as Sales Manager- Telecom from 2000 to 2002, wherein he led sales team for enterprise accounts in telecom segment for North India.

He was the enterprise account manager – manufacturing at Digital Equipment (DEC)/Compaq for over three years from 1996 to 1999.

Parag began his career as a sales executive with HCL in 1994. 

He has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra.
