The Infotech Software Dealers Association (ISODA) announced its new management committee at its recent Annual General meeting in Mumbai.
Vice Chairperson of the previous term, Tushar Parekh, MD - Silicon Netsecure became the chairperson this year. Rajeev Mamidanna, Director at technosprout Systems became the President after being Vice President last year. This year, the Secretary and Treasurer continued in their term.

The Vice Chairman and Vice President were elected unopposed. N K Mehta, Director at Secure Network Solutions was elected as Vice Chairman and Gunasegharan Krishnan – whole time director at Ecaps Computers was elected as the Vice President. This was formally announced to all members present at the gathering by the returning officer, Prashant Jain who presided the session.
Atul Modi, Director, Modi Infosol, was announced as the TechSummit 8 Chairperson scheduled for February next year. The key achievements of the previous ISODA team were presented including successful TechSummit 7 at Vietnam, huge acceptance to ISODA Mouthpiece called Interconnect, the addition of members including newer Indian cities and overall governance of team work.
One of the top priorities for ISODA Management Committee this year will be adopting Digitization for creation of visibility for ISODA members and propagation of ISODA Story by promoting ISODA website more, create more Social Media Buzz and Create more collaboration with marketing focus.
There will be a dedicated focus to increase membership to have representation in more states and having more chapters as we definitely aim to open three to four new chapters, says Tushar Parekh. New Chapters like Pune and Jaipur will be encouraged to have more members.
After the elections and appointment of the new management committee, the events’ gold Sponsor Udyog Software presented their solution to make GST automation a reality. Dhruv Dua, ISODA’s tax consultant, later conducted a GST unplugged session that was equally well-received.

The day two of ISODA AGM kicked off with technology insights with sponsor XcellHost talk on adoption of Cloud and an update on the company’s channel roadmap. Enjay IT Solutions spoke on the company’s solution of CRM on the mobile for utility and ease.
The executive editor of IDG Media Yogesh Gupta presented ‘Digital - Shifting Goalposts’, a session on how digital transformation by enterprises is changing the roadmap of tech channel companies.
The AGM concluded with a session “I am ready to take-off” by leadership coach for independent business owners, sr. executives and women leaders – Kavita Nath.
ISODA: TOP PRIORITIES FOR 2017-18

· Partnering with other industry and IT associations for meaningful collaboration

ISODA this year intends to forge more liaisoning with other Industry and IT Associations in India for meaningful collaboration by partnering with each association’s marquee events and meetings to build more opportunities and build visibility for ISODA as well as help other associations.
Women entrepreneurs are increasing in number in IT industry and ISODA member agreed to encourage them in their business and take guidance from such successful entrepreneurs so know their stories. ISODA will aim to create visibility for Women Entrepreneurs and further enhance the number of Women members in the association.
ISODA’s new committee aims to provide a better and bigger technology exchange platform throughout the year by leveraging ISODA Regional Meets and AGM and also use various new media to help propagate newer technologies and know-how for benefit of their members and the IT industry at large.
