Ramanand Kambli appointed India Sales Director for CrowdStrike

Former Blue Coat Channel Chief Ramanand Kambli to lead India operations for the cloud-delivered endpoint protection company CrowdStrike.

CrowdStrike, a provider of cloud-delivered endpoint protection solutions, has appointed has Ramanand Kambli as the regional sales director of India and SAARC.

Ramanand will lead the company’s local presence in the regions of India and SAARC and drive new business growth.

In his previous role, Ramanand was India channel chief for Blue Coat Systems from February 2013 to July 2017. He moved out of Blue Coat as the director–channels for India and SAARC before the final merger with Symantec.

Ramanand commenced his career as a sales manager with Bharti Airtel in 2005 and has over a decade of industry experience working in senior roles at security MNCs like Blue Coat Systems and McAfee. He drove enterprise sales for McAfee India for over four years before moving to Blue Coat. 

CrowdStrike Falcon platform unifies next-generation AV, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and a 24/7 threat hunting service — all delivered via a single lightweight agent.

CrowdStrike is also setting up its development center in Pune, India and appointing senior local leadership to drive growth and talent acquisition. Jhilmil Kochar as Managing Director of CrowdStrike India Development Center will lead the new Engineering and Operations Center.

Additionally, CrowdStrike is making multiple strategic hires within India and plans to rapidly recruit for more than 20 new positions by the end of 2017.

In addition to expanding headcount in the fields of engineering and finance, CrowdStrike is also investing in building a regional sales force with supporting functions such as sales engineers, field sales managers, and channel sales representatives.
