Kronos Announces Launch of Workforce Central 6.1 in India

Kronos India today announced availability of version 6.1 of its Workforce Central suite in India. Workforce Central 6.1 reportedly provides executives with greater visibility into their global workforce, enabling them to identify critical business issues and empowering them with the tools to make good informed workforce management decisions enroute to achieving their ultimate business goals.

Workforce Central 6.1 includes hundreds of features and ease-of-use enhancements and underscores Kronos’ commitment to deliver solutions that enable organizations to control labor costs, minimize compliance risk, and improve workforce productivity.

Workforce Central 6.1 supports India’s Factories Act & Shops and Establishment Act, whereby manufacturers and services organizations are required to maintain time-related registers and statutory reports for employees. To help organizations comply with these regulations and minimize compliance risk in a simple and configurable out-of-the-box way, Workforce Central 6.1 provides legislated working time reports, as well as new features to monitor overtime and time-based pay codes on a daily and hourly basis making it easier for organizations to manage their workforce in compliance with to Indian labor practices.
