Widely hailed as the “Father of eCommerce in India”, K Vaitheeswaran is a serial entrepreneur and an internet industry veteran who pioneered the digital retail industry in the country. He co-founded India’s first pure-play online retail company Fabmart.com in the year 1999. Then again in 2001, he co-founded Fabmall – the world’s first online to offline hyper-local, an omni-channel grocery retail company. K Vaitheeswaran has advised global brands like Deloitte, Diageo and the Tata Group in their digital initiatives.
Vakul Sharma is a Managing Partner of Vakul Corporate Advisory, a law firm that primarily deals with information technology issues, including data protection, privacy, surveillance, encryption and cybersecurity. Sharma has been regularly nominated by the Government of India to high-powered committees, working groups and draft legislations. He has also helped create a set of policies and notifications for various state governments of India on the issue of critical information infrastructure and cybersecurity.
Dr. Charru Malhotra is presently working as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA). She has over 20 years of experience in training, teaching, research and consultancy in information and communication technology (ICT) along with its application in public service delivery and e-Governance. She holds the privilege of being a national resource person for 'training of trainers', certified by the government of India and accredited by the UK's Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group. Her work areas include capacity building and impact assessment of e-government projects, evolving strategies for co-creation of digital spaces, application of emerging technologies for governance, policy design of cyber security concerns and designing smart-cities/ villages. Malhotra holds more than 20 publications in international and national journals.
Sivarama Krishnan is a senior advisory partner for PwC's consulting services. He has gained an extensive experience as an accomplished business leader, having incubated new business lines, supersizing service organizations, and mentoring teams. In a career spanning more than 24 years at PwC, Siva has led the risk advisory and management services for the firm, thereby serving a long list of elite customers in both the government and private sectors.
