Channels in India are recognizing this as a hotbed of opportunities and are changing and aligning their strategies according to market demands. ChannelWorld honored top five channel partners in India for their game changing and transformative projects in the security space. The winners for special award for security for 2017 are ACPL Systems, Digital Track Solutions, L.A Technologies, Taarak India and Vitage Systems.
This award was presented by Mukul Mathur, vice president of Global Business Partners and CSI at IBM India and South Asia. With over 25 years of experience in enterprise tech, Mukul Mathur has been at the helm of cementing channel relationships at the big blue.
“With everything opening out, with mobility, API and data coming in from different sources - from the end device to all the way to your enterprise datacenters, security is a top concern,” said Mathur to the Premier 100 audience.
It's an area that clients are absolutely dying to have more and more expertise and inputs. Every incident that you read about in the newspaper, there are more happening that are not reported. Clients absolutely need it - many times they don't know they need it. It's a huge opportunity and we need partners with deep domain knowledge, he added.
The security award winners this year demonstrated next-generation solutions like DLP, MDM, SIEM, next gen firewall, encryption and other new security technologies for their clients. They also executed challenging projects in security domain, while securing the IT posture and added advantage to their customers’ businesses. They also demonstrated the MSSP model in some of the most challenging projects in the Indian enterprise space last fiscal.

The winners were reviewed for their domain growth, contribution to overall revenues, the challenging security projects implemented in last fiscal with respect to security. The shortlisted winners were stacked against each other to shortlist India’s top security channel companies for 2017.
