Ashish Dhawan has joined Amazon Internet Services.
He will be responsible for handling the large enterprise business at the company.
Dhawan will relocate from Singapore to India for his new career stint. He has been with Juniper Networks for over eight years. He also had an equally long and successful stint with heritage Nortel for over nine years during the early 2000s.
Ashish Dhawan has been appointed as Head - Enterprise Business, at Amazon Internet Services, the company said in an official statement provided exclusively to IDG India.
Ashish Dhawan will be responsible for managing large enterprise business of Amazon Internet Services in India and driving AWS Cloud services adoption and digital transformation for its customers.

He joined the Amazon Internet Services (AISPL) team on October 15, 2018, and he will be responsible for managing its large enterprise business in India, driving AWS Cloud services adoption and digital transformation for its customers, mentioned the official statement.
Prior to joining Amazon Internet Services, Ashish was VP Sales at Asia Pacific, Japan and China leading Juniper’s Enterprise, Commercial and Partner Sales for the region. He was based out of Singapore.
With over two decades of experience in technology industry, Ashish has held roles such as MD - ASEAN, India and South Asia; Head - SP Mobility APAC, MD, India and South Asia and Managing Director, Enterprise, Asia Pacific at Juniper Networks. .
Ashish began his journey with Juniper Networks in 2010 as Country Director, Enterprise, India and South Asia. He led Juniper India business across the Enterprise segments - Govt and Defense, Financial Services, IT Services, Large Enterprises and SMB.
Ashish was Vice President and Country Manager - India and South Asia at Nortel Networks (heritage Nortel) from 2000 to 2009.
Ashish began his career as marketing executive with Wipro Infotech in 1995.
He is an alumni of IIM Kolkata and has a degree in engineering from Mumbai University.
