Global sourcing has evolved in the last of couple of years, and large outsourcing deals were the things of the past, said Robert Rosetta, MD and Global Head—Resource & Location Strategy, Citigroup.
He said that the future will demand shorter, flexible deals that play to the needs of the customer and strengths of the supplier.
He added that robotic process automation will be the game changing efficiency driver. He also said that BPO engagements will need to come up with value propositions to make it worthwhile for customers to not simply automate their own.
“The right outcomes will be seen with the right person in the right place at the right time with the right skills at the right price,” said Rosetta.
