Phaneesh Murthy has joined the board of Value Point Systems, one of South Asia's leading digital systems and services integrators.
Before joining Value Point Systems, Murthy served as the CEO and President at iGATE; prior to this he was the Director of Infosys.
For the 28 years old systems integrator and managed services company, Value Point Systems, having Murthy on board will be a major boost. Commenting on the development, the company’s founder and CMD R S Shanbhagh, said in a statement that Phaneesh Murthy is a highly experienced and dynamic leader in the IT industry.
He mentioned that Murthy will play an integral role in mentoring the board to expand business worldwide. "Also, his participation in equity and inclusion in the board will add credibility and immensely help the organization in our ongoing fundraising initiative to fuel our exponential growth plans.”
Phaneesh Murthy has been inducted into the board as an additional director. With his experience in place, he will bring in the required credibility for Value Point Systems in capturing global markets.
A statement released by the company said the appointment of Murthy will help Value Point Systems in creating a global vision and strategic roadmap to transform from an IT infrastructure products and services company into a leader in digital transformation solutions and higher value services.

I look forward to guiding the management and strengthening their business globally," said Phaneesh Murthy.
Before joining Value Point Systems, Murthy served as the Chief Executive Officer and President at iGATE, prior to this he served as the Director of Infosys. He started his career with Sonata Software in 1987.
He holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and graduated from IIT Madras. Phaneesh comes with industry experience spanning more than three decades in sales and marketing, product solutions, and structuring and managing outsourcing deals.
