Nitin Bawankule has left Google Cloud.
Nitin was appointed country director, India at Google Cloud in May 2018.
He has been with Google India for over eight years as the head of Sales for multiple verticals including ecommerce, retail, classifieds, education.
Google Cloud’s official statement confirmed Nitin’s exit from the company.
Nitin was reporting to Rick Harshman, managing director of Google Cloud in Asia Pacific.
In his new career move, Nitin will head the ad sales at Star India from October this year.

Nitin joined Google in 2011 as Industry Director - E-commerce, Retail, Online Classifieds, Technology, Education and Government.
He was appointed new business head for Google Cloud, India in 2018 to handle the cloud business for the tech giant.
“We continue to see strong business momentum in the market, and Kamolika Peres leads our Google Cloud business in India in the interim reporting to me,” said Rick in the statement.
Nitin has worked at Dell, Motorola Mobility, Whirlpool and Godrej GE Appliances before joining Google in 2011.
An IIM Bangalore and VNIT Nagpur alumnus, Nitin has over 25 years of experience and understanding of the digital, technology and consumer industry.
From Google Cloud that offers cloud platform services to Indian businesses in India, Nitin moves to lead the ad sales at the media conglomerate Star India in his next career stint.
