Tanisi IT Services has a two-fold strategy. The company noticed that among SMBs, cybersecurity is still a distant goal. Although these organizations have been investing in solutions like firewalls (UTM) and antiviruses, a lot of them still fell prey to ransomware attacks. A number of customers who have been processing or have sensitive information /IP in the business, have had data theft incidents, largely by its own employees.
The company partnered with OEMs that broke free from the current model of offering niche security services on an OPEX model for SMBs. It then packaged the product as a service and added the same with its deployment, support and operations management services and offered it to customers as one complete package. This model ensures that customers have to pay one fee on a quarterly basis and get an end-to-end delivery of the service including the product as well.
For larger enterprises, Tanisi is now advising its customers on how they can incorporate additional security measures like two-factor and biometric authentication. It is also educating its customers on how AI-based monitoring solutions can inform the SOC on limitations and vulnerabilities. This method not only bolsters security, but also creates a completely new way of running analytics.
